Not sure why it won all the awards. Seemed like a mostly average film. Too long and Gene Kelly was a little annoying. My issue is that there wasn't a good story to connect the songs. Each song came out of nowhere and with little context. Lavishly produced, no doubt, but I had a hard time caring about what was happening. Fairly boring film. 8 years 5 months ago -
