I'm sure this was meant to be one of those epic stories about vivid and wild love, but somehow it just didn't work for me.
I don't know if I really simply don't understand it or that it really was boring and faked and forced.
The only thing I did like was the clothing, the rest was a mystery to me, like the theatre. Yes, it was creative, but did it really add something to the story? I don't think so.
I also have no idea what the importance of that redhead to the story was, why was he even there?
Okay, I'm gonna stop now before I turn utterly bitchy.
Nice scene transitions, but it becomes a bit strange, maybe pretentious when almost everything is basically going to play on the theater scene and in the -salon, although there are clearly different places ... you understand when you watch the movie.
Not quite clear, I would definitely understand more if I read the classic book with the same name of Leo Tolstoy. The film lacked involvement, I was not moved - got really interested in the book, which I think gives so much more. Or serves as a foundation bolt before the film. This you only see once.
Vikander is doing well. Also nice with a dimmed roll for Jude Law. When can someone tell Knightley she's unhealthily thin?!
Good acting, the movie was a little slow for me, I didn't like Anna Karenina character.
A film that I would donĀ“t be sad if I didn't see it again.
3/5
I love how Joe Wright directed this movie. I love the style of the movie. It's so stylist and it's great. Especially what for Seamus McGarvy did for the cinematography. All the style of this movie is great. I love it.

Overwhelming in its prettiness. First half was incredibly entertaining, second half was too long.colindavidson

Visually stunning but poorly cast. Jude Law was the only well played character. I loved the theatre setting.Showing items 1 – 15 of 24
