It's all the best zombie movies mixed together with World War Z (zombies in piles) and Walking dead (before it went bad ... season 3 and up to now) There is not really something original or new. It is particularly bad when it goes after the typical clichés, it become directly comical and miserable. It's not a bad effort, it has its good points. However, it has borrowed too much from World war z, which is a shame because it was a very poor movie.
I had to go to the very bottom to find the comment I agree the most with. What's great about Train to Busan? The zombies. They are incredibly well-made and realistic. Probably the best I've seen from the genre.
Everything else is generic or sub-par. I lost my interest halfway through. The script was just so disappointing,
and it dragged on and on. Would recommend watching a few scenes for the zombies, but not the entire movie, honestly.
There are some great moments but it's a half hour too long and honestly, I don't get all the love for it. It's a good zombie flick, but still, pretty standard.
Pretty solid zombie movie. Not sure why it got quite this much hype since it is overall fairly standard stuff, but I guess it did manage to make its characters likeable despite their limited development and it used its train setting to the maximum. A few bits left me scratching my head
like when the older lady opens the door for the zombies to eat most of the survivors, or when the main character almost literally sticks his hand in a zombie's mouth
. It did have a touching ending, and a few great moments of tension.

Overhyped, overlong and suffering from poor acting and writing.MonsieurBlutbad
Pretty generic, boring and goreless Zombie movie, but it takes place in a train and thats appearantly enough for some to call it original.der Zorn Gottes

Pretty average little zombie action movie. I'm glad people really like it, but I don't get the hype.thekure23

Too many annoying scenes where characters don't react as real people would. The good point is Ma Dong-Seok: he's really fun to watch.

Very run of the mill zombie flick. However I was very entertained by it. Would probably watch it again if I caught it on TV. 6/10.Rasheru
