Yeah, this was pretty bad. I think it was the writing and it also seemed rushed, like they didn't have time to get a better take or they were stumbling over the script.

Though it is the weakest of the anthology and even Sylvester Stallone dislikes it, Rocky V had heart. It brought back John Avildsen for that original spark, has a heartwarming scene with Mighty Mick, and an interesting collaboration of characters with Duke and Tommy. Though its poorly executed, it is the ending that makes it suffice.

Certainly not as bad as people make out. I guess it's disappointing that Rocky never gets in the ring during this film, but I liked the new characters, and it was a decent concept for the film. Granted, the kid was kinda annoying, but other than that, I thought this was OK.

Tommy Morrison's acting is awful, but I enjoyed the fight in the streets. Still got you pumped.

The weakest in the series but not a bad movie. Still got a lot of charm but it's a bit too repetitive and it doesn't help that the Tommy Gunn character sucks. It's an ok movie just not a great Rocky movie

After the excesses of III & IV, the series returns to it's roots for it's (intended) swan-song & somehow remains fresh. 6/10.

It's an above-average film,
but if you edit out Rocky's son as much as possible - you have a really strong film experience.
Richard Gant steals the show - one of the most amusing performances ever:
''you are a damn fool...'' , ''touch me and i'll sue you''...
On the par with the 1976 original, if not even slightly better.
