Turn off the sound and it's a dandy background for meditation.

I love experimental films, but bring a sleeping bag to this one. Might have mattered in film history, but I found very little value in watching it.

You guys think this is bad (I haven't seen it yet, but have no desire to)? Try watching 4.5 HOURS of Michael Snow with ‘Rameau’s Nephew’ by Diderot (Thanx to Dennis Young) by Wilma Schoen. I was in Hell.

Absolutely one of the toughest movies to have to sit trough. This is a 45 minute short, with virtually no action. There is a single camera set up, fixed on three walls of a room. It gradually, very gradually, zooms in on a picture on the wall over the course of the run time. There are a couple times a person or two ventures into the room, but it is brief. To make this experience even more fun, is a buzz which is ever increasing in pitch. This ties in with the movies title. It is enough to drive a person insane. Every second of it is excruciating. 'Wavelength' may be hailed as one of the finest Avant Garde films ever made, and one of the first structuralist works ever produced, but its not enjoyable in any sense of the word.

The best part was the Beatle's music and of course the ENDING!. My 6 year old did a better video filming the grass growing in our back yard. The zooming in and out at precise moments was the clincher. His film is avant-garde, so it isn't for everyone, but the inter play of insects and birds chirping make it a masterpiece.

The "Play again" button at the end. Hahah! I applaud anyone who clicked it.

For anyone in LA, it's playing at the Cinefamily tomorrow (11/18).

About ten minutes into the film I thought I had lost all hope in the battle against this one. Then suddenly it came to me and I realised how I could manage it. I just turned off that awful sound, put some good music and got myself through it. However, I highly recommend that if anyone reading this hasn't seen the film he/she should read some of the other comments before doing so. I hope for the sake of your mental health that if you decide to go on and watch it, that you will at least turn off the sound.

I don't feel this is a film one has to watch. Understanding the concept behind the film would serve one just as well. I did watch it. Possibly one of the biggest mistakes I've ever made in my whole life.

Ever get the feeling you've been taken for a fool? Terrible, terrible excuse for a film. Words can't express how low an opinion I have of this garbage.
