W-w-w-why? Was this film like a revenge towards Clint Eastwood, since he starred in a movie that blatantly copied Yojinbo, so they decided to make a near mockery of one of his finest movies? I mean it's shot-for-shot and sometimes even word-for-word remake of The Unforgiven, thrown into the early Meiji period. The setting and the cast could've been used to make a really good and original movie, yet they decided to waste time and money for this? I mean sure, Ken Watanabe is the hottest piece of ass in all of Japan, but c'mon! Shameful display! 7 years 8 months ago
