The front cover game the impression I thought I would go away with. Somewhat inventive, liberating, good - nothing better

Great dialogue, cast I know the leads driving instructor - she lives close by) and great film to embrace feminism

There's a bit of an Easter egg with Honey to the bee by Billie Piper sang in the film...albeit a different singer

Not bad, I read this was better than expected. Baddies appear like in The Rock.

Nice stunts felt believable.. Light jokes 5.5/10

It's good but weak. Perilous and barely reaches feature length. I put this off for years.. Informative though 6/10

Alas haven't watched the first one yet, is good but nothing special, a few blatant add-on bits

Very nice but felt a shallow story

I watched it yesterday, very good, script works, laughs work and great set design and costumes, plus acting

High Tolkien inspiration so it will appear familiar and chucks in tons of references to the DnD lore, guessing it's all real and there for the fans..I only know the board game side (my other passion, 2,200 board game reviews)

Very good, highly recommend. I will out the other two recent ones for comparison!

Bond, Hydrogen bond.

I saw a preview of this three years in advance by Sony (first group in the UK) lots of grey areas on the screen where the CGI hadn't been put in.

Only reason for watching this

More for kids but ok

Becomes a pigeon, keeps teeth and eyebrows

Overly labours the point for jokes, example “oh reeeaalllllllly” 5/10

Remarkably I forgot what happened in this and I love hip-hop

Kermode nailed it. Pasted on love interest. They went with a topless scene where.. well anyway, the development of the technicals behind the tower are great. Not really enough to eek out a feature length though

I watched this as it's been a horrid week of torrential rain.

Classic old singing into, New York in all it's beauty, brilliant quickfire dialogue throughout (and Jewish jokes). Heard back things about it.

Timothy seems to imitate Woody Allen (including the stammers)

Read both sides of the Woody story, apparently Mia lied and that judges and psychiatrists concurred. Doesn't escape the fact Allen is the only person I can think of who appears to impromptly kisses the lead actress in his films (borderline assault).

Jude Law was great. He can be a bit staid but he's really maturing.... However he turned into Woody later too... Then pulled a face having poured a drink in his mouth but BEFORE swallowing a whisky

Great film. Elle was excellent

Didn’t think Liam was particularly good in this alas. Fab cliche references but nothing special
I predicted Danny Huston would be in this. He is indeed great in it and a great casting selection all round aside from Neeson who should had been great. “I’m too old for it” was a nice line in the fight scene

Terrible title, David doing a Tom Hanks...
Rest of the performances were ok
The score is drab

Classic dreams murder mystery thriller. Ask the developments are presented in the standard fair. Wasn't anything special 6/10

I've reviewed/played a lot of board game escape room in a box games and this was great to watch after. Very good. Definitely Saw meets Cube

The sauna bit was .... Interesting as you are supposed to use it before exercising (you use them to raise your heart rate not rest)

Final act is naff, 6/10

Note to self, watched 64 minutes so far.
It's sci-fi so of course there are aquatic enemies, I liked the naval bit but felt something more believable might be nice, not sure about canon. Performances, action, clothing, sets, hair make up fine but I do hope the script is decent when I finish it

A gothic looking fable which is fairly complex in the first act resolving somewhat simplistically in the final.

This was my final film to watch from those nominated for an academy award.. Alas the one I rated lowest

Seven favs so far. Is it really the best in the series? I felt the first was cliché but preferred the other two

Very enjoyable and a surprise. Final film I hadn't seen in the Doris Day box set and the final in the set too. Great fun, recommended!

Classic Baz and great take on how to portray the story. Very good throughout and recommended. Modern rap didn't seem to be needed. Great elements otherwise

A sixth in the first act was good, a third in and wow, however cliché characters and a cliché perfect guessed request
7/10 barely

Very good, 7/10 wasn't much direction and could have been a better narrator
