Though the story wasn't a really exciting one, the topic it revolves around, medieval book illumination, is a really interesting one, taking in count how beautiful actual illuminated books are. It required the movie to be itself "illuminated". The animation is almost perfect, the colors, shapes, movements are gorgerous. I could watch it over and over just for how beautiful it is. The soundtrack is very good too, adds a lot to the visual part, and helps create an atmosphere. Not my favorite movie, but surely the most beautiful animation movie i have seen.
Really good movie, maybe the sex scenes weren't necessary, but helped give it the sense and atmosphere required to understand it. It really gave me a lot to think about. Human sexuality is interesting, complicated and varied, and I think this movie really depicts that.
Waited the whole movie for something really scary, or interesting, or exciting to happen. Futile wait. Can't believe i wasted an hour of my life watching this.

Had really low expectations before watching it, but it turned out to be much better than I thought. Loved the idea of the literal man-eater, I felt I could relate to that. Also, not your cliché comedy/horror where it's all about watching the girl get naked. The popular/nerd friendship was a good point too, and I loved it how Needy beat Jennifer not because she learned something and became a better person, but because she just straight killed her.
