This movie begins with John Malkovich whispering sweet pussy repeatedly while filming a cat.

The rest of the film is great too.

Such a terrible movie. Pained me to watch it. A dumb boring headache version of Rambo 2.

@ShotMarvinInTheFace

From the imdb trivia
"During the spoiler , a man in the background walks in the tunnel and then walks out. This was an accident as an assistant on the film accidentally walked in and walked out when he realized they were shooting. The director kept this in because he wanted to show that not everyone prevents crimes."

(1979) Hey, let's give this George Miller guy 300,000 and see what he comes up with.

(1981) Wow. Not bad. Here, have 4.5 million

Hm. This guy doesn't seem too bad at making films. Let's wait a while before we give him anymore.

(2013) Okay. Fine. Here's 150 million. Have fun, kid

(2015) HOLY. SHIT.

John Woo should write a thesis on the value of human life in action films.

This film has all the themes of a modern classic; greatness, failure, tragedy, triumph, loss, redemption, ect. The screenplay is brilliantly constructed. Intense and excellent preformances. JK Simmons will get nominated for sure. His charecter was one of the most interesting I have seen in recent years.

I really appreciate John Ford's depections of scenery such as streets, pathways, rivers and more notably desert landscapes and grasslands.

As haunting as the book. The last two shots were iconic.
Arthur Gardener, who played a student in this film was the last living member of the cast or crew until December 19th, 2014 when he passed away at 104.

David Ayer has devolped a very keen sense of style. He has repeating ideas in film, such as Fury and End of Watch. Such ideas as intense scenes, strong attempts to horrify viewers, blunt truth, gritty and dark atmospheres, focus on cops, military or policeman, bloody formulas, spoiler ect. These sorts of motifs in his films seem like he is a perfect choice for Sucide Squad considering what WRB is going for.

A melancholic romantic Chinese Rashpmon with gorgeous cinematography. As far as the plot structure goes, it is quite typical of most Chinese films, loose and faded. Zhang Yimou however diverts us from that with dynamic camerawork, action and color. Like a great cultural director, he chooses to immerse the viewer in his country.
